Turkey files WTO complaint against US AD duty on rebar imports

Turkish economy minister Nihat Zeybekci has stated that the economy ministry has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) regarding the antidumping (AD) duty imposed by the US on rebar imports from Turkey, according to a report by Anadolu Agency.

In May this year, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced final dumping margins of 5.39 percent for rebar imports from Turkish producer Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.S. (Habas), 8.17 percent for Turkish producer Icdas and 6.94 percent for all other Turkish exporters, while the DOC also issued final a subsidy margin of 16.21 percent for Habas and all other Turkish companies.
