Turkey and China ink trade deal worth $210M

A Chinese business delegation on visit to Turkey, consisting of eight prominent companies and 30 businessmen, inked a $210 million-worth trade agreement with Turkish exporters in Istanbul on August 28.

The agreement covers exports from Turkey to China of chrome, copper, lead, wool and polyacrylonitrile.

The delegation, led by China's Deputy Minister of Commerce Xiuhong Ma, held talks with the Turkish exporters at the Turkish Exports Assembly (TIM). As a result of the talks, 14 Turkish companies inked an export agreement worth 210 million dollars with the eight Chinese companies.
