Triple S Steel acquires Arbor Metals

Triple S Steel, headquartered in Houston, Texas has acquired Arbor Metals, based in Dallas, Texas for an undisclosed amount. Arbor Metals is an international trader, processor and stocking metal service center for all grades and thicknesses of stainless steel and aluminum strip and coil.

Triple S Steel was founded in 1960 and has grown rapidly through strategic partnerships and acquisitions since 1978. Triple S Steel operates in Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Georgia, Colorado, New Mexico and California under various brands including General Steel, Maas-Hansen Steel, Metals, Inc., Intsel Steel Distributors, R&S Steel, and NexCoil Steel. Triple S Steel also previously acquired Steckerl Hierros y Acero, a steel company in Colombia with five facilities.
