Trade cases launched by Egypt also includes wire rod imports

The antidumping and countervailing duty investigations launched by Egypt also includes wire rod imports from China, Turkey and Ukraine.

Investigations cover the period between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016.

The products subject to investigations currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 72.13, 72.14, 72.27 and 72.28.
 
According to the data for the January-November period last year, Egypt ranked as Turkey’s second-biggest wire export destination, importing 114,320 mt of wire rod from Turkey, up 122.17 percent year on year.
