Tonghua Steel produces 479,525 mt of high-speed wire rod in H1

Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tonggang Group, a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Shougang Group, has announced that in the first half of the current year it produced 479,525 mt of wire rod at its high-speed wire rod plant.
 
In the first half, Tonggang Group respectively achieved 50.24 percent and 53.28 percent of the annual production targets at its old wire rod production line and new wire rod production line at the plant in question.
 
In 2011, Tonggang Group's high-speed wire rod output had totaled 934,565 mt, up 106,572 mt year on year, constituting a record annual output.
