Tonggang Group achieves sales revenue of RMB 4.7 billion in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period of the current year, Jilin Province-based Chinese steel producer Tonghua Iron and Steel Co. (Tonggang Group), a subsidiary of Shougang Group, achieved a pig iron output of 1.33 million mt, a crude steel output of 1.31 million mt, and a semi-finished product output of 1.32 million mt, as reported by Tonghua Daily. Its sales revenue for the period amounted to RMB 4.7 billion ($742.6 million).

In 2011, Tonggang Group registered a sales revenue of RMB 26.8 billion and a net profit of RMB 510 million, after posting net losses in the previous three years.
