Russian pipe producer TMK has announced that it has won a tender for the delivery of pipe products to Yamal SPG.

Yamal SPG, whose shares belong to Russia's largest independent natural gas producer Novatek and French oil and gas company Total, is now working on the development of the Yuzhno-Tambeiskoye natural gas condensate deposit located in the north-east of the Yamal Peninsula. The large-scale project on the development of the deposit provides for the construction of some 200 wells, a plant for natural gas liquefaction with a capacity of 16.5 million metric tons a year, an international sea port and an international airport.

In July this year, TMK was declared the winner of the tender for the contract on the delivery of casing, tubing, adapters, filters, and nozzles for the oil wells in the Yuzhno-Tambeiskoye natural gas condensate deposit for the 2013-2020 period.
The company is to deliver 7,000 mt of casing and tubing to Yamal this year, including 6,000 mt of cold-resistant pipes with premium connections. The shipment will be completed by members of TMK - Tagmet, Seversky Tube Works, Sinarsky Pipe Works and Volzhsky Pipe Plant - while the casing components were made by Orsk Machine-Building Plant, TMK NGS-Buzuluk, and TMK-Kaztrubprom.
