TISCO reduces HRC ex-factory prices for August

On July 23, Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) announced its August ex-factory prices for HRC. The details are as follows:

The ex-factory price of < 3.0 mm thickness HRC decreased RMB 410/mt ($54/mt), while that of > 3.0 mm thickness HRC decreased RMB 350/mt ($46/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,310/mt ($438/mt), while that of 5.5 mm is at RMB 3,230/mt ($427/mt).

The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 23, 2007.
