TISCO achieves crude steel output of 9.98 million mt in 2013

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co. (TISCO) has announced that it produced 9.98 million mt of crude steel in 2013, including 3.22 million mt of stainless steel. In addition, in the given year the company achieved an operating revenue of RMB 146 billion ($23.9 billion), with a net profit of RMB 500 million ($82.0 million).

In comparison, in 2012 TISCO had produced 10.13 million mt of crude steel, including 3.11 million mt of stainless steel, while its operating revenue amounted to RMB140.5 billion ($23.0 billion) with a net profit of RMB 400 million ($65.6 million).
