On February 27, Tianjin Steel hiked its ex-factory prices for medium
plate by RMB 50/mt ($3.9). The details are as follows:
After this adjustment, the mill's price of 16-20 mm costs RMB 3,900/mt ($503/mt), while the price for 32-40 mm has risen to RMB 4,050/mt ($523/mt).
The above figures do not include transportation costs. If the mill takes charge of transportation, the prices will be RMB 30/mt higher.
The above prices include taxes and are effective as of February 27, 2007.
