Thainox plans to increase production capacity
Thai cold rolled
stainless steel producer Thainox Steel plans to double its annual
production capacity to 400'000 tons with the purpose of meeting domestic demand. The current annual
production capacity of the mill is 200'000 tons. The company produced 170'000 tons of cold rolled products in 2003.
The capacity increase is planned to be materialized in two stages. In the first stage, capacity will be increased to 300'000 tons and in the second stage to 400'000 tons.
