Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade has announced that it has launched antidumping (AD) duty and countervailing (CVD) duty investigations on hot rolled flat product imports from Brazil, Iran and Turkey. The investigations were launched upon the complaint lodged by local producer Sahaviriya Plate Mill Public Company Limited, which claimed that dumped and subsidized imports from the countries in question have been causing material injury to the domestic industry.

The products subject to these investigations are hot rolled flat products with thickness of 0.9 millimeters to 100 millimeters and with width ranging from 100 millimeters to 3,200 millimeters. The alleged dumping margins are 35.07 percent for Iran, 11.54 percent for Turkey, and 34.4 percent for Brazil.
