Thailand may initiate AD investigation against coated steel imports

Thailand's Ministry of Commerce has received an application from Thai domestic enterprises for the initiation of antidumping (AD) investigations against aluminum-zinc coated steel sheet and galvalume steel coil imported from South Korea, Taiwan and China, as well as against imports of inner rubber tubes for motorcycles originating from China - as reported by China's Ministry of Commerce.
 
In 2010, China exported 3.05 million mt of coated steel sheet, of which 340,000 mt were exported to Thailand, with respective export values of $2.64 billion and $30.94 million.
