Net sales of tubes at Tenaris in South America increased 3 percent, year-on-year, to $466 million, the company said.

However, in the quarter-on-quarter analysis, net sales showed a 4 percent decline, due to “lower OCTG sales in Brazil and the Andean Region, partially offset by higher shipments of pipeline projects in Brazil and Argentina and higher OCTG sales in Argentina.”

As for H1, net sales of tubes in South America rose 7 percent, year-on-year, to $954 million, the company said.
