Tata Steel’s crude steel output up 7.67 percent in June quarter

Indian steelmaker Tata Steel has announced that its crude steel output for the first quarter ending June 30 of the current financial year amounted to 2.52 million mt, rising by 7.67 percent year on year. The company's liquid pig iron output in the given period was 3.01 million mt, up 16.4 percent compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
 
Meanwhile, during the June quarter, Tata Steel's finished steel output increased by 5.7 percent to 2.35 million mt year on year.
