Tata Steel orders hot strip mill equipment from Japanese companies

Japanese companies Sojitz Corp., Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery Inc. and Hitachi Ltd have announced that they have jointly received an order from Indian steelmaker Tata Steel for supply of hot strip mill equipment to be installed at the Kalinganagar steel mill that the Indian company is constructing in the state of Orissa. The order is reported to be worth JPY 35 billion.
