Tangsteel’s high-strength auto sheet project enters full operation

On February 14, the high-strength auto sheet project of Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group's subsidiary Hebei-based Tangsteel saw the commencement of hot testing of its galvanized production line, marking the full operation of high-strength auto sheet project, as announced by Hebei Steel Group. This is the third production line to commence operation within the scope of the project, following the start of hot testing of the continuous annealing and pickling lines on January 15 this year.
 
The galvanized production line in question has an annual output capacity of 400,000 mt and can produce cold rolled galvanized products with thicknesses of 0.2-2.5 mm and widths of 700-1,600 mm.
