Tangsteel increases sales of structural steel plate for high-rise buildings

On January 7, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd (Tangsteel), a subsidiary of Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel), announced that it has inked a strategic agreement with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd to establish a long-term partnership.
 
In addition, Tangsteel stated that in 2015 it sold a total amount of 23,000 mt of structural steel plate for high-rise buildings to China Construction First Building Group Limited, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd and Hangzhou Xiaoshan Dadi Steel Structure Manufacturing Co., up 334 percent year on year.
