Tangsteel exports 404,500 mt of finished steel in January

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Heibei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co.(Tangsteel) exported a total of 404,500 mt of finished steel in January this year, including 164,600 mt of cold rolled products, 138,500 mt of hot rolled products, 82,400 mt of long steel products and 19,000 mt of medium plate. The company's overall finished steel exports in January exceeded the targeted volume for the month by 19 percent.
Tangsteel has set a finished steel export target of 4 million for 2014, with average monthly exports of around 340,000 mt.
