Tangshan Steel’s sales of HR electrical steel move on rising trend

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Tangshan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, has witnessed an increasing trend in monthly sales of hot rolled electrical steel from March to May this year, as announced by Hebei Steel Group.

In March and April of the current year, Tangshan Steel's sales of the product in question amounted to 1,500 mt and 5,000 mt respectively, while so far in May the company has already received orders for hot rolled electrical steel exceeding 7,000 mt.

Meanwhile, in April this year Tangshan Steel's sales of hot dip galvanized (HDG) products totaled 4,821 mt, up 270 percent month on month, while it has received HDG orders totaling 10,000 mt so far in the current month.
