Tangshan Steel exports 528,900 mt of longs in Jan-Oct

On November 4, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced that during the January-October period this year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. exported 528,900 mt of long steel products, hitting a record high for a January-October period. The exports in question included rebar as well as steel for welding wire and steel for welding rods.

Meanwhile, in October this year the domestic sales volume of high-end automotive steel plate of Hebei Steel Group subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. amounted to 28,000 mt, the highest monthly volume so far in the current year, exceeding the previous highest monthly volume in the year by 5,000 mt.
