Tanggang releases August ex-factory prices for flats

On July 23, Hebei Province-based Tangshan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd (Tanggang) released its August ex-factory prices for HR and CR products. The details are as follows:

The producer's HRC ex-factory price has decreased RMB 100/mt ($13/mt) compared with last month. After adjustment, the new price of 2.75 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,770/mt ($499/mt), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,700/mt ($490/mt).

The CRC ex-factory price has declined RMB 200/mt ($26/mt) compared with last month. After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is RMB 4,500/mt ($596/mt).

All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 23, 2007.
