Tanggang hikes September prices for flats

On August 27, Hebei Province-based Tangshan Iron & Steel Group (Tanggang) released its September ex-factory prices for HR and CR. The details are as follows:

1. HRC prices were up RMB 380/mt ($50/mt). Thus, the ex-factory price of 2.75 mm Q235 is RMB 4,210/mt ($557/mt), while the price of 5.5 mm is RMB 4,180/mt ($553/mt).

2. CRC prices have increased RMB 250/mt ($33/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm SPCC is RMB 4,650/mt ($615/mt).

All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of August 27, 2007.
