Taiyuan Steel sees 31 percent rise in stainless exports in Jan-Apr

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co.
(TISCO) exported 85,611 mt of stainless steel products in the first four months of the current year, up 31.04 percent year on year, according to data issued by Chinese customs. This export volume is TISCO's highest for the corresponding period since 2009.

In addition, in April alone the steelmaker's stainless steel export volume was nearly 25,000 mt, constituting its highest monthly stainless steel export volume of the previous 17 months.
