Taiyuan Steel ups HR prices for March

SteelOrbis Shanghai On February 12, Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Steel released its ex-factory prices of HR products for March. Prices of hot rolled coils increased RMB 150-450/mt ($19-58). As a result, the ex-factory price of Q235 3.0 mm is now at RMB 3,670/mt ($473), while that of 5.5 mm is at RMB 3,530/mt ($455). The above prices exclude 17-percent VAT and are effective as of February 12, 2007. $1 = RMB 7.76
