Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 12.2 percent in January-July

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in July this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.03 billion, down 14.4 percent compared to July 2014 and decreasing by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month. In June, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded an 11.8 percent decrease month on month. 
 
In the January-July period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders declined by 12.2 percent year on year to $14.54 billion.
