Taiwan's iron and steel export value down 2.61 percent in Jan-Nov

In November this year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports increased by 7.75 percent year on year and decreased by 14.61 compared to October to $1.33 billion, according to the preliminary statistics issued by Taiwan's Ministry of Finance. In the same month, the country's iron and steel import value totaled $934.2 million, up 14.50 percent year on year and rising by 9.92 percent month on month.
 
Meanwhile, in the January-November period of this year, the value of Taiwan's iron and steel exports was down 2.61 percent to $15.88 billion, while the value of the country's imports of iron and steel totaled $10.29 billion, down 9.61 percent, both on year-on year basis.
