Taiwan’s HRC imports up 96 percent in April from March

In April this year, Taiwan’s hot rolled coil (HRC) imports increased by 96 percent to 74,984 mt compared to March, with the imports mainly coming from South Korea and Japan, according to data issued by the Taiwanese customs authorities. 
 
Meanwhile, in the same month, Taiwan’s hot rolled coil exports declined by two percent from March to 372,363 mt. The exports mainly went to Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and China.
