According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in July this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.26 billion, up 12.8 percent compared to July last year and rising by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month.
In the January-July period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 15.6 percent year on year to $15.1 billion.
