Taiwan's basic metal export orders down 3.1 percent in November

In November this year, Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.32 billion, down 5.3 percent compared to October and falling 3.1 percent compared to November 2013, according to Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. The country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders had increased by 1.9 percent and by 10.9 percent in October and September this year respectively, both on year-on-year basis.
 
On the other hand, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders in the January-November period of the current year amounted to a value of $26.08 billion, rising by 4.7 percent on year-on-year basis.
