On March 26, Taiwan's Ministry of Finance announced that it will conduct antidumping (AD) investigations on carbon steel plate from South Korea and India, carbon cold rolled steel products from China and South Korea, and also on non-grain-oriented silicon steel from Japan.
The ministry expects to announce the results of its preliminary review by as early as the end of July/beginning of August this year. By January 2014, the ministry will determine whether to impose AD tariffs on the products in question for a five-year period. Dumping margins are alleged to be in the range of 17.12-38.35 percent.
