In June this year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 400,500 metric tons, increasing by 8.1 percent year on year, but down 2.6 percent as compared to May, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the first half of the current year, Swedish crude steel production totaled 2.42 million mt, with an increase of 6.3 percent year on year.
