Swedish crude steel output falls 10.2 percent in Q1

According to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret), in March this year Swedish crude steel production amounted to 450,400 metric tons, decreasing by 9.4 percent year on year and up 19 percent as compared to February.

In the first quarter of 2012, Swedish crude steel production totaled 1.24 million mt, with a decrease of 10.2 percent compared to the same period of 2011.
