Spain's motor vehicle output up nine percent in February

In February of the current year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 223,060 units, rising by 9.02 percent year on year, according to the data reported by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC). Meanwhile, in the first two months of this year Spain's total motor vehicle output reached 398,066 units, rising by 3.74 percent year on year.

In February this year, Spanish passenger car output increased by 1.86 percent year on year to 168,603 units. Meanwhile, in the first two months of the current year the passenger car segment recorded a decrease of 1.37 percent year on year in output to 299,436 units.

On the other hand, in February the country's motor vehicle export volume increased by 3.46 percent to 144,989 units, while the volume for the first two months decreased by 0.05 percent to 253,185 units, both year on year.
