Spain's motor vehicle output up 10.7 percent in January-August

In August of the current year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 54,633 units, decreasing by 11.22 percent year on year, according to the data reported by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC). Meanwhile, in the January-August period of this year Spain's total motor vehicle output reached 1,580,422 units, rising by 10.67 percent year on year.

In August this year, Spanish passenger car output decreased by 25.81 percent year on year to 38,493 units, while output in the first eight months of this year rose by 4.86 percent year on year to 1,203,771 units.

On the other hand, in August the country's motor vehicle export volume decreased by 6.14 percent to 56,936 units, while the export volume in the first eight months of the current year rose by 7.32 percent to 1,333,528 units, both year on year.
