South Korea's new car registrations up 25 percent in January-May

In May of the current year, South Korea's new car registrations increased by one percent month on month to 18,386 units, up 20 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA). 
 
Meanwhile, in the January-May period this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 25 percent year on year to 95,557 units.
