South Korea's auto output down 3.9 percent in November

In November last year, South Korea's total automotive (cars and commercial vehicles) output amounted to 426,740 units, down 3.9 percent year on year, but constituting the highest monthly volume in 2013, according to a report released by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA). On the other hand, South Korea's car and commercial vehicle output in the first 11 months of the year saw a year-on-year decrease of 1.4 percent to 4,102,372 units.

In November last year, the number of vehicles sold in the domestic market totaled 120,037 units, down two percent month on month and decreasing by 7.65 percent year on year. In the first 11 months of last year, domestic vehicle sales in South Korea decreased by 1.40 percent year on year to 1,256,705 units.

South Korean vehicle exports in the first 11 months last year fell by 3.34 percent year on year to 2,798,779 units.
