South Korea's auto output down 10.32 percent in Jan

In January this year, South Korea's total automotive (cars and commercial vehicles) output amounted to 368,228 units, down 10.32 percent year on year and down 12.18 percent month on month, according to a report released by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA).

In January, the number of vehicles sold in the domestic market totaled 107,150 units, up 2.07 percent year on year and decreasing by 14.12 percent month on month.

South Korean vehicle exports in January fell by 9.59 percent year on year and decreased by 11.54 percent month on month to 256,972 units.
