Sinosteel to supply Yingkou with iron ore

Hong Kong based Sinosteel and China's Minmetals Yingkou Medium Plate Company signed earlier this week a strategic cooperation agreement for iron ore supplies. According to the agreement, Sinosteel will supply the iron ore required for the entire production of Minmetals Yingkou Medium Plate, which has an annual production capacity of 1.5 million metric tons. In related news, Sinosteel also signed iron ore supply agreements with Chuanwei Group and Xingtai Steel earlier in the month.
