Sino-Germany jv expands the investment scale

SteelOrbis Shanghai ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co. Ltd, joint venture of ThyssenKrupp Stahl and Angang New Steel, held an inauguration ceremony for the Phase II Project in Dalian, Liaoning Province on July 25. ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co. Ltd has operated well since it officially commenced production in December 2003. Last year, the production line attained the planned total capacity, and the sales revenue totaled RMB 2 billion ($250 million). The company has inked long term supply contract with many famous automotive and household electrical appliance manufacturers such as Beijing Benz, Volkswagen, Huacheng-BMW, General Motors, Ford, Haier, Siemens, and LG. The investment for Phase II Project is $99.8 million, for 400,000 mt planned annual production. When it is completed, the total investment for both Phase I and II will be $279.8 million, with registered capital of $132 million and annual production of 800,000 mt.
