Shougang Steel’s shipbuilding plate approved by nine shipping bureaus

A ship surveyor representing nine shipping bureaus spread across the US, Germany, UK, France, Norway, Italy, Japan, South Korea and China has lately conducted a comprehensive examination and inspection of the shipbuilding plate production facilities of Chinese steel producer Shougang Steel.

The inspection process focused mainly on four stages: steel production, steel rolling, flattening and shape testing. After inspection, the ship surveyor high commended the 2,250 mm hot rolling line on which the shipbuilding plates are produced. Shougang Steel successfully passed all inspections.
