Shougang Steel commissions bell-type annealing project

On September 29, Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Cold Rolling Sheet Co., Ltd announced the official commissioning of its bell-type annealing project.

The project includes the establishment of a bell-type annealing production line with an annual production capacity of 600,000 mt. The annealing line will mainly produce automotive steel sheets and steel sheets used in the production of white goods.

Shougang Cold Rolling Sheet, put into production in May 2008, mainly produces high-end automotive sheets, sheets for white goods and construction sheets. The company produces 800,000 mt of cold rolled annealing coils and 700,000 mt of hot dip galvanized coils each year.
