Shengfeng Steel eliminates electric furnace

A 60-mt electric furnace at Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Jiangsu Shengfeng Iron and Steel Group (Shengfeng Steel) was sealed up on August 6 this year, as announced by Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission on September 15. Shengfeng Steel has made a commitment that this electric furnace will never resume production in the future.
