Shaoguang Steel produces SWRCH18A cold heading steel

Chinese steel producer Baosteel has announced that its Guangdong-based subsidiary Shaoguang Iron and Steel (Shaoguang Steel) has successfully developed production of SWRCH18A cold heading steel, initially producing 350 mt, thereby further expanding its product range. The new product was found to be in line with the required quality standards.

The characteristics of SWRCH18A cold heading steel include high purity, low percentage of harmful elements, good surface quality, excellent drawing and cold heading performance. It is used extensively in the production of screws and fasteners
