Shanxi Province sees increased coal output and sales in Jan-Apr

According to the authorities in China's Shanxi Province, in January-April this year the province produced 129 million mt of raw coal, up 6.68 percent or 8.0677 million mt year on year, but with a 10.46 percentage point drop in the growth rate compared to January-April last year. In April this year, the province produced 37.6410 million mt of raw coal, up by 11.59 percent or 3.9092 million mt month on month.

In the first four months of the current year, Shanxi Province recorded total coal sales of 123 million mt, increasing by 4.59 percent or 5.3870 million mt year on year. In April alone, the province's coal sales amounted to 35.2873 million mt, up 10.08 percent or 3.2309 million mt month on month.
