Shanghai No. 3 Steel Plant releases August price list

SteelOrbis Shanghai Shanghai No. 3 Steel Plant released its August price list of plates on August 8, 2006. The prices of 6 mm plate decreased RMB 200/mt ($25), that of 8-10 mm decreased RMB 400/mt ($51), and that of common carbon plate and low alloy plate (>12 mm) decreased RMB 600/mt ($76). The new ex-factory price of 11.1-20 mm thick Q235 plate is RMB 4,120/mt ($517), and that of 11.1-20 mm thick Q345 is RMB 4,320/mt ($542). The ex-factory prices of boiler plates decreased RMB 550/mt ($69), that of heavy plates decreased RMB 250-440/mt ($32-56), and that of shipbuilding plate decreased RMB 250/mt ($32). The above-mentioned prices include taxes and are effective as of August 8, 2006.
