Shagang Steel establishes new group for Henan-based subsidiaries

On May 30, several subsidiaries of Chinese steel producer Shagang Steel Group, namely, Anyang Yongxing Iron and Steel, Anyang Huacheng Special Steel, Huifeng Steel Pipe, and Liyuan Coke, all located in Henan Province, were officially formed into a new group called Shagang United Steel Group.

The new group is expected to have an annual production capacity of four million mt of pig iron, four million mt of crude steel, three million mt of finished steel and 2.7 million mt of metallurgic coke.
