Shagang hikes longs prices for mid-September

On September 11, Jiangsu Province-based Shagang announced its longs prices for mid-September.

Rebar prices are up by RMB 140/mt ($19/mt) from early September levels. Thus, the price of 14-25 mm diameter HRB 335 is now at RMB 4,080/mt ($543/mt).

High speed wire rod prices have increased RMB 130/mt ($17/mt). As a result, the price of 6.5 mm Q235 is at RMB 4,050/mt ($539/mt).

All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective from September 11 to September 20, 2007.
