Shagang announces unchanged longs prices for mid-July

On July 11, Jiangsu Province-based Shagang released its mid-July prices for long products. The details are as follows:

1. Rebar prices have remained the same as early July levels. Thus, the price of 14-25 mm diameter HRB 335 is now at RMB 3,450/mt ($455).

2. High speed wire rod prices have also remained unchanged. Thereby, the price of 6.5 mm Q235 is still at RMB 3,650/mt ($482).

All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective from July 11 to July 20, 2007.
