SevGOK restores enrichment unit

Severniy GOK (SevGOK), an iron ore producing subsidiary of the Ukrainian mining and metals business group Metinvest, has announced the completion of the restoration of the iron ore enrichment unit No.13-14 at its iron ore enrichment plant No.1.

During the reconstruction work, new equipment supplied by Swedish company Metso Minerals was installed. The total investment in this project amounted to $240 million.  

The renovation of the unit will allow SevGOK to increase its annual production capacity of iron ore concentrate at enrichment plant No.1 by 750,000-770,000 metric tons.
